Two of my computers have had WordCruncher on them. When one was corrupted and formatted, I attempted to restall from the 2nd computer. I copied the files from Program Files to Program Files, but the desktop icon is different and brings up just the files. What have I done wrong?

You have created a shortcut to the folder instead create a shortcut to the executable file. Alternatively, download the file from its official website. The application is available in both 32 or 64 bit.
